Traceable from Seed to Shipment
We eliminate middlemen. Paddy is sourced directly from farming communities in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, processed entirely within our own 2.50 lakh sq. ft. facility in Kharora, Raipur, and shipped with full documentation. Every lot is traceable from field to container.
We procure paddy directly from trusted farming communities in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh bypassing intermediaries to ensure quality at origin and fair prices for farmers.
Every incoming lot is weighed, moisture-tested, and graded before entering the facility. Sub-standard paddy is rejected before it enters our mill protecting downstream quality.
Our modern milling, whitening, polishing, and optical colour sorting technology produces uniform grain with minimal breakage under hygienic, closed system conditions.
Each finished batch passes through our in-house lab: moisture, whiteness, broken %, foreign matter, and food safety checks before clearance for packing
Rice is packed in your required format (25 kg / 50 kg / bulk) and shipped from key ports with APEDA certification, phytosanitary certificate, COO, and any required market-specific documents

Balaji Rice Industries operates India’s agri-processing sector is one of the largest consumers of industrial energy. We made a deliberate choice to change that at our own facility. Our on-site solar installation generates most of the electrical power required to run our milling, sorting, packaging, and operations — making us fully energy self-sufficient.
This is not a carbon offset or a future target. Our facility is running on solar power today — reducing our operating costs, reducing our exposure to grid outages, and delivering a measurable environmental benefit on every tonne of rice we process.
Rice husk biomass — a second energy loop
In addition to solar power, rice husk the outer shell removed during milling is processed through our biomass system. This closes a second energy and waste loop:
1. Paddy is milled at our Kharora facility and the outer husk is separated.
2.Rice husk is fed into our biomass boiler generating heat energy for processing operations.
3.This eliminates husk as industrial waste and reduces thermal energy costs.
4.Husk ash the combustion residue is returned to local farming communities as a silica-rich soil amendment.
5.Enriched soil grows better paddy, which returns to our mill the loop is complete.
Combined with our solar facility, this makes Balaji Rice Industries one of the most energy independent rice processors in central India.
